Outlook and attachments

Does anyone know why sometimes when you attach something to a message in outlook it appears somewhere in the body of the text?

That is pretty annoying sometimes, because it should and sometimes goes into an attachment box below the subject.
I would love to fix this even though it’s not a major issue.

ahhh problem solved!

this happens when it is set to compose in rich text.

no idea why that is, it probably is a bug.

Are you attaching the file(s) to the message by dragging the file from an external window into the message compose window? Doesn't Outlook add the attachment properly if you use the attachment icon?

The problem lies in that you are using rich text. If you set it to html, it will put it on its own line.
