Outlook 2007 + RSS news reader = AWESOME!

Can anyone else agree? I never used any other reader except for the one built into IE7. Now that I have one in Outlook which I also use for e-mail and contacts and what not it is amazing. An ALL IN ONE!

Sites that publish articles can add an RSS link to their site. People use readers that periodically check for new articles. When one comes up then it shows up in the reader. It is a nice tool for people who need to or want to read a lot of articles on a specific subject but dont want to constantly goto a website and see if a new article has been published.

I'm currently developing a tool that crawls RSS feeds and searches for keywords that a user specifies, and sends an alert if it finds one, via e-mail or SMS.

AnandTech for one 😉

I subscribe to a whole bunch, Slashdot, various Linux/BSD/UNIX sites, The Register, etc etc.
Most news sites tend to have them.
