Outlook 2003 Question

Quick question about Microsoft Outlook 2003 running off of exchange server. In Lotus notes there is an application called Notes Minder that allows you to have Lotus notes closed out and out of the system tray so that it isn't even running, but Notes Minder will still let you know when there is a meeting or new mail message present. Is there a feature on Outlook 2003 that can do this?

Nope, the Outlook process will need to be running.

Outlook 2003 does expose a little-known Outlook feature that allows it to minimize to the system tray (so it doesnt sit on your task bar) but it is still running.
