Outlook 2003 PST password problem - *NOT* a forgotten password issue

I have a PST file I've been using as an archive on Outlook 2003 for the past 3 years, there has never been a password on it, it has never asked for a password.

I rebooted my PC this morning (no it wasn't the first time in 3 years) and it is now asking for a password, I tried all of my standard passwords I cycle through, I tried leaving it blank, I tried the usual cuplrits, nothing. I downloaded one of those lovely PST password recovery programs and it insists there is no password on the file.

I'm pretty damn good with computers, hardware and software, and this is making my brain hurt. There is no password but Outlook is clearly convinced there is. I blame Bill Gates.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks lstratos, but like I said in the post, I've already done that and verified there is no password even though Outlook thinks it is.
