Outlook 2003...problems with mso.dll, outlib.dll, and hungapp

This is on a brand new workstation running WinXP pro. I installed Office 2003 and after about a week, Outlook started generating errors originating in the dll files outlib and mso. The strange thing is I cannot find these files at all on my pc (Show Hidden Files is turned on). I've detected and repaired, reinstalled office, ran Outlook in Safe Mode, turned all advanced options off, etc but none of that helps. All my info resides on the server, I do not have any pst's that could be corrupted. Any other ideas?
