Outlook 2003.
I have a problem that I believe is being caused by an unsent read receipt. Even though my outbox is empty, every time I send/receive, the dialogue hangs at "Sending 1 of 1 message," and then I get an error.
When I send other messages, they do get sent successfully, but there is always that one phantom message that can't get sent! I believe it's the read receipt because this problem started after I opened a message asking for a read receipt. Trouble is--I don't see the unsent message in the Outbox!
I tried deleting the email account and then re-adding it, but it didn't solve the problem. Any ideas?
