Outlook 2003, getting duplicates of emails I have "rules" on....

So I have a rule that moves my reply notification emails to a specific folder in my inbox. For some reason, I get dupes when they come in though. And it's only on the AT emails.

Any ideas?

Is one of the actions "Stop Processing More Rules" on that rule? I know Outlook will put e-mails that match criteria from more than 1 rule in more than one place, resulting in duplicate e-mail. My suggestion would be to put "stop processing more rules" as the last action for that rule, and see if that takes care of the dupe e-mails.

Is it set to "move" or "copy" the mail?

If it's set to copy then it will create a copy and leave the original in the original location.

i had the same problem with outlook 2002 (even though it was on "move"). turning on stop processing more rules fixed it
