Outlook 2003 default browser

I'm running Outlook 2003 and if I get an email with alink in it it opens up the wrong browser.
Where do I change it?

Thanks,

If you want IE to be the default, go to Tools->Internet Options->Programs Tab, check the box at the bottom for IE to check that it is the default browser each time it loads. Then run IE and tell it to make itself your default browser.

If you want FireFox to be default, go to Tools->Options->General, check the box for Firefox to check that it is the default browser each time it loads. Then run firefox and tell it to make itself your default browser. Mozilla should be similar to Firefox, if you use another browser I can't help you, but it will probably be similar.

Note that this is a system-wide setting, so it will affect programs other than Outlook (like IM programs)

Thanks,
I use FireFox and it kept launching a different profile. Well I found out I had an old FF exe file and it was launching that one.

If you are trying to change it to Firefox, do the following:

1. Make sure Firefox is set as the DEFAULT Browser

2. Then open Windows EXPLORER and go to:
TOOLS \ FOLDER OPTIONS \ FILE TYPES and scroll to the " URL:HyperText Transfer Protocol "
and select it, then click ADVANCED

3. Select OPEN, then EDIT.

4. Remove the check next to "Use DDE" and exit back to FILE TYPES.
Do the same to the HTTPS & FTP Protocols.

5. Pray it took.

If you are trying to make IE the Default, just substitute that for Firefox above.
