When I click Send/Receive to process my e-mail accounts, I get prompted for the user name and password, even though the Remember Password check box is selected on the Servers tab of that mail account's properties. How do I fix it so it doesn't ask me anymore???

Sometimes POP servers lock out accounts temporarily if you attempt to log in too frequently. If this happens Outlook will prompt you for your username/password. Try adjusting the interval that Outlook checks for new messages.

It can't be that because when I setup up that same account on a different machine to check the email, it checks it fine without the password prompt coming up

You are either using the wrong password or the server may be down. Do you have another email account on the same server that you can check?

The issue is probably the same one I am having. You can enter the password once, but sometimes you will go to check your mail again and get an error message. You then have to go to: Tools>email accounts>view or change. Then select the account click change and re enter the password. This gets really old... is there a way to fix this?
