Outlook 2002 -- Deleting One of Two "Outlook Today [Personal Folders]" -- How?

Somehow, in my Outlook 2002, I have two folders called "Outlook Today". How may I delete one of them? I had tried
using the Delete button on my keyboard, as well as right-click and there's no Delete button to click on. I did tried the use
of highlighting one of the folder and click Folder under File, and there's usually a Delete button as well. How may I just have
ONE "Outlook Today" folder?? Thanks in advance!

The Outlook Today folder, together with all of its subfolders, represents a single data file. You can delete subfolders from within Outlook 2002, but you can't delete the main folder. Instead of deleting it, you "remove" it. File | Data File Management, select the folder you wish to close, click on the Remove button. (Make sure you are closing the right one.) This doesn't actually delete the .pst file, AFAIK. It only closes it and causes it to not re-open when Outlook is launched again. You'll need to navigate to the directory where the .pst files are stored in order to actually delete the file itself.

Be careful not to blow away any important data. You can move some types of data (messages and notes, at least) between .pst files from within Outlook. So, if you've got some data in both .pst files, you may be able to save all of it.

Does that help?
