Outlook 2000 Problem

Good Day

I have a client that is having a problems with outlook 2000 (installed as internet mail only) and i've tried everything I can think of or found so far online. The problem is this:

Whenever I open up outlook and go to open a message or move over to one of the other folders ie sent items or contacts, it comes up with the following error

"Outlook has casued an error in PSTPRX32.DLL and Outlook will now close"

The things that I have tried are
1) remove and re-installed outlook express
2) installed udated outlook express
3) replaced that specific file
4) renamed the .pst file to create a new one

And none of these were able to resolve it. The only thing i havent done yet was a re-install of the office 2000 as because my client cant find the cd. So was wondering if there was anyway that i might beable to resolve it without having to re-install it.

Why remove and reinstall Outlook Express when you're having a problem with Outlook 2000?

Find the CD and reinstall Outlook and the Office 2000 service packs. You may try just reinstalling the service packs if it'll let you.

The reason i did the remove and re-install of outlook express is that was the first suggestion I came across on microsofts kb.
