Outlook 2000 - Printing Selected Text

Outlook 2000. Select text of an e-mail, click File -> Print ... and you cannot print only the selected text. Whereas before in Outlook Express, you could. Any ideas?
 
I believe it is because Outlook is set by default to HTML.
You cannot print out HTML pages directly from Outllook.

Outlook Express is by default set to RichTextFormat (6.0), PLAIN TEXT (earlier versions)
