Outlook 2000 calendar problem

Hope someone can offer some advice with this - here's the story:

At work we are migrating from Win2k(pro) / Microsoft Office 2000 to WinXP(pro) / Microsoft Office 2003 - our profiles are hosted on several corporate exchange servers.

After logging onto an XP/2003 machine (All Outlook features seem fine) I logged off and logged in to a Win2000 machine and got some initial error message - something about a corrupted somethingorother and noticed that my 'view' had reverted back to some default look. I was able to re-create my settings for the view via the 'View' menu bar choice to get back my preview pane, etc. However, several days later when I attempted to set an appointment on my calendar, I got the following error message - 'The Object could not be found' (??). Note - if someone sends me an email about a meeting and I respond that I will attend, it successfully updates my calendar. Also note - If I go back to the XP machine and login and then open Outlook 2003 - I can successfully post an appointment (???)

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.....thanks in advance.😕
