I've got a new gaming rig, running the game using Windows 8.1, latest drivers and a fresh install of everything.
My PC specs:
Intel i7 4790 (not overclocked)
GTX 780
16GB Memory
Asus Z97 Deluxe motherboard
SSD
Everythign else i play with max setting i.e. Watch Dogs which must be more taxing than this game runs perfectly fine.
The game opens in window mode even though it's set to fullscreen in the main menu. The game basically just freezes, sometimes it will freeze for around 5 seconds and then it will simply unfreeze itself but most times it will freeze and then i need to push Ctrl Alt Del, once i push Ctrl Alt Del and then Esc i can go straight back into the game and it plays again until it freezes up again.
Can't for the life of me work out what's going wrong, i've tried running as administrator but doesn't make any difference, i've verified all the files using Steam and everything seems to have installed properly.
I read some people where having this problem and it was due to there mouse strangely enough but that isn't the case here.
Anyway else had this problem and know a fix? Oh and nothing overheating, i've checked that too.
