I was given 10 minutes to clear my desk then was escorted out of the building. It is a strange feeling to be escorted out even those I have seen this kind of things before for network admins.

I was expecting that I am one of the last person to be kick out of my company, but management must feel that our sourcing all of their internal support is cheaper.

:(

I damn near lost my job too. I left my employer on March 5th and they announced the closure of our facility about 2-3 weeks later because they were shipping all the jobs overseas.

They think that they could hire a monkey to call MS for support, because a phone call ++ remote in is only $240.

I have already sent 2 resumes off today to the local government for network/security admin & a finance/system coordinator position.

I was a network/dba.

Because, I have the admin password & remember many users password. I also have the key to the building & server room.

i guess the idea is that the person is still in shock and just kind of does whatever is being asked of them.
