ok, longer story in short mode.
Went to best friends wedding & reception. I was one of 2 groomsman in the wedding.
Additionally there was the Best Man who was actually a woman. (which was ok, because the maid of honor was actually a man.) So we actually have, the best woman, and the maid of man. (off topic, sorry back to the story)
My Wife and I, the best Woman and husband, and the DJ & her Significant other, all decided to go to a Steakhouse for a late night post reception 9pm dinner at RRR Roadhouse. A very nice steakhouse, comparable to Lonestar or Texas Roadhouse.
the best woman who has been known to be cheap at times, ordered her dinner. Which at most nicer restaurants also comes with a salad and a side. With her salad she ordered blue cheese dressing.
So all was well, including the DJ, who is a 22 yr old female marine, recently returned from Egypt, and was completely drunk, and was just thrilled at being able to drop peanut shells on the floor.
Finally at the end of the night, we got our checks, and the Best Woman is appalled at being charged 50cents for blue cheese dressing on the salad which comes with her dinner. Apparently, where they live, this is never done, and they have never been to a restaurant where it is done.
I tell best woman, we used to charge for it at the hometown pizza/italian place i used to work, but also, places like Red Lobster dont usually do it.
This insues a 20 minute arguement about it, which the other 4 of us are completely embarrassed about. Finally she pays the 50 cents.
Here are the facts, and I want an ATOT judgement of who is in the wrong. (yes its sunday night and im really bored)
1)Salad is a comlimentary part of dinner.
2)No-where on menu does it state about 50 cents extra for choice of blue cheese dressing on saldas/
3)Waitress does not inform best woman about the charge when ordering either.
4)Best Woman has never heard of this practice before.
5)I've been to restaurants before where its done both ways.
6)It is only 50 freakin cents.
Who is wrong? Best Woman or Dum Waitress?
As promised...
Picture of Bride Playing Tackle Football in her Wedding Dress.
And I went at great risks against the Homeland Security Act to ake a picture of a federal building... but you all had to see it... since most of you have bigger bathrooms than this.
