Came home from work one night. My parent were gone for two weeks. My Grandma had left our spare keys on the kitchen counter for me with a note. We have and open style kitchen and it shares a room with the tv/family room. I watch tv for 2-3 hours only leaving twice. Once to go to the bathroom and another to go the basement and get a soda. We I get ready for bed I think to myself. I should hang the spare keys on the key rack before bed. I look at the counter only to see a note without the keys.

Its been 5 years and the keys have never shown up (we know because of the keyring). I don't think it was anything mystical but rather that there was someone in the house and he left with the keys when I went downstairs. Pretty creepy.

my mom was telling me about the church fair, which was yesterday, and how there was this guy with a fake racoon, and hed make it 'jump' around. and i thought of rocky racoon, the beatle song, but i didnt say anything and let her finish. at the end she said the guy named it rocky  coincidence? telepathy? speed of thought? this is the only recent thing i can remember. i get a lot of these kinds of situations for some reason.

Here a funny thing, though not out of the ordinary. I was smoking weed pretty often some years back and one day I was sitting on my balcony and I saw a branh with leaves and some birds and squirrels on the end of it. I am sure I was awake cause all the time I was talking to my brother. The next day I look at the branch again, only now there's no branch and hell, its the middle of winter. There are no leaves at all. It was the pot, I can tell. But yea at that time, it was pretty funny and scary too.

de ja vu can be explained...although i'm not gonna go into detail, de ja vu is an experience where whatever experience that just occured instantly goes into your long term memory, therefor confusing you in that way as if you had done it before...in a simple sort of way

relaying it in your dreams is in your mind

That's a good explanation... except it doesn't explain how I can recall deja vu as it's happening and KNOW ahead of time what a person is going to say before he/she says it. Verbatim.

to further some info, and an interesting fact, the people in your dreams never have a face, although you feel you can name the person...they do not have a face

i have seen people with faces in my dreams

You only think they have faces, they really dont, even if there is an image there.

EDIT:
Think really hard...although if you have to do that, then you are only trying to convince yourself
I think any logical person would agree that once they thought about it, there was really no face, but you feel you could name the person or place that image onto someone you met

of course people can have faces in dreams. stop being silly.

I've had a ridiculous amount of deja vu.. pretty much once or twice a day for a couple of years... but I blame that on the LSD...

I've heard and felt ghosts at my granny's which is about 250 yards from our family cemetary. :) Including my wooden-legged grandfather who died before I was born... You could hear him walk up and down the stairs to his workroom. pretty nuts. The appalachians are and OLD place....

It's so difficult to pull a story out of one of my relatives, because of how deeply they believe in them. Of the ones I've been told, they've been pretty entertaining/mysterious. It's been years though & I barely remember anything.

sometimes if i read something or watch something that pertains to an older memory of me, i go back in time and have the knowledge of the future with me at that age revolving around the memory. my actions in my memory then directly affect how things occur in the future.

oh wait, that wasnt me, that was ashton in the butterfly effect. my bad.

One time long ago, my friend and I went to this old mansion (abandoned) that was resessed slightly on a large tract of private property in the middle of an old south chicago suburb. We called it "shrum mansion" why i dont remember but one day we took it upon ourselves to go there and explore it. Now to give oyu an idea on how it looked (mind you this was over 14 years ago) it was a two-story mansion or big @ss house. It had a green room that you can see from the front of the house on the second floor and the house was built completly out of red brick. We entered the house through a side window that was borded up (through the kitchen) there were still some things laying about (broken cups, odd forks and what not) the kitchen was not that large for a hose this big but did boast a island to work on and not much of anything else. So we decided to leave the kitchen and took a quick left and there were soem stairs to the basement. The basement was pitch-black (i mean your eyes hurt trying to see anything) outside the opaque light coming through the cracks of the back door and a bit coming from the kitchen.
The basement was flooded about a foot or so deep (maybe more be we dared not go any further) , and we left there and decided to check out the the living room and the upstairs quarters. The living room was bare and only had a chair in it and there were bullet casings (.22 i think) laying about. I think the bullets were blanks since i picked one of em up and it didnt have a slig, rather what looked like a pinched wrapper on the top. we continued upstairs and thats when things got weird.
The upstairs was unremarkable much liek the livingroom downstairs. there was a chair siting next to a window just to the right of the staris when you got to the top. The crazy thing was there was a ball of yarn with all kinds of different colors tied together. Now this was the size of a softball, and woudl take at least a little bit of effort to make. So being the young abolecent i was I tied it around the leg of the chair and tossed it out the window. We then turned west and went to the green room, passing a door that loked liek it was absolutely pointless. The door frame perturuded out of a wall perpendicularly but it didnt well have a wall on the other side, you could walk right around it. sort of like a "T". So we walked around it and went turned left and headed south to the green room. There were all sorts of old newspapers thrown about the floors. some from 1950's hell maybe even older. We decided that the house was fairly unimpressive if not a bit creepy, and headed out. We decided to go out the useless door for noviltiy's sake. As soon as we walked through and started down the stairs the door slammed shut behind us. (no wind at all). We almost crapped ourselves on ths spot and made a run for it to the window, left and never came back. My buddy grabbed a bamboo cane from there and said he saw "eyes" looking at us on the way out from the green room (i only half-believe that) . Later we came by the outseide of the mansion (i forgot to mention this butr it was surrounded by a light forest, thick enough to make you think its a real forest) and the ball of string was gone, not snapped off (as to show a piece of string haning there from the top) but completely gone as if i ad never tied it ther in the first place.

This is a true story, I can tell you this still makes my hair stand on end and im plenty old not to be scared of that sort of thing. All I got to say is that there are strange things going on in this world, things that you can't explain and frighten you when you begin to thin kabout what they can possibly be.

I was at a friends house drinking when the subject of religon came up. I being in a half drunken stupor stated to everyone that there was no devil and if there was let's see him prove it. My friends get all serious and say that I should not talk like this. I just laugh and say FVCK the devil.
So I end up passing out at my friends house upon waking up the next morning I find my keys are gone. We all look everywhere, I turn my pockets inside out nothing. So i call a locksmith to have a new key made for my car. Later I end up going home and changing clothes and going over to another friends house to watch a game. It gets late so he tells me just to crash on his couch. I wake up around 300am in pitch black darkness with a horrible burning sensation on my leg after jumping around I realize there is something in my pocket, I pull the item out and low and behold it's my keys, that where lost, burning hot to the touch.

This brief article shows that i'm trying to get at:

here

They do have "faces" but its not conventional, if that makes any sense

The real trick is telling the person to stop, then tell them what they were going to say...it wont happen, there is no real ms cleo

EDIT:
and you have to realize, the movement into this "long term memory" of your brain takes split seconds, making you think this, however, it is not the case...

at the moment i'm too sleepy, tired and lazy to write anything in detail...hehe...but sometimes i like to just stare at myself really closely in the mirror, i would stare deep into my own eyes and would look for any out of the normal movement in my reflection...almost waiting to see my reflection's eyes look to the left while i'm still looking straight...or maybe my reflection would twitch just a little bit, or maybe a slight grin...

I was at the hospital just outside my mothers room when she passed away, after a bit i went in with my wife and son and we all smelled flowers very strong, didnt think much about it, later when we got home (middle of winter) the same flower smell had filled my house.

Later about 2 years after she died, i was on a ladder above the second floor painting the house, just brushing away unconcerned about anything, lost in oblivian (sp) for a few seconds i didnt think anything about noticing out of the corner of my eye, my mother walking up along side the house near bottom of ladder, till i came to my senses and realized (while i wasnt looking down) that she had died.Looked down, no one there.. This happened all in just a few secionds.

Didnt happen to me but my mother told me about it, back in the 1930's my dad once a week would get acting nervous, and he would strap on a revolver, take a lantern, wait on a car to come by to pick him up. She siad usually 3 to 4 guys in the car, one she reconized as local sheriff/constable. They would drive off and be gone all night. Next day and every time he did it she would try to find out where they went, she said all she ever got was a blank stare..Sure a lot of things they could have been doing, this was a very small rural town where everyone knew one another, and tho she questioned people, no one ever knew, or told anything. Just weird....

Things that should be out of the ordinary, but aren't:
Someone too busy while driving to use thier turn signal.
Someone flipping a car on a flat, straight, wide, stretch of well paved roads.
Windows crashing.
Someone not understanding the concept of proxy bidding.
Someone saying that a voting machine that I was successfully taught how to operate when I was 8 in one minute confused them and caused them to vote wrong.

Then the next day I'll have my seat changed.

Yep. Same here. It's happened too many times to be ignored.

Just glitches in The Matrix I guess :p

My grandma called our house that was filled with carbon monoxide at 2 A.M and was like "I'm sorry I don't know why I called you I was sleeping and I just picked up the phone and dialed your number". Woke my dad up and he woked us up as soon as he found out what was happening.
