Apparently, cordless phone batteries need to be changed once a year. I was so grateful to the employee that I bought a few extra batteries. Man, that saved me a lot of time.

YMMV with cordless phone batteries. It all depends on how you use them and the type of cell. NiMH, Li-ion, NiCad etc all have different lifespans. I had a 900MHz GE cheapo last for 4 years on the same battery and a much more expensive V-tech crap out in 8 months.

Yeah i have a panasonic 900mhz i bought probably 96/97 and it can go almost 2 weeks without having to put the phone on the charger. Its a great phone and its our main phone. I bought a newer one a few months ago and it sucks a$$. Doesnt hold a charge more than 2 days.
