Out of the 3 blockbuster trades this month in the NBA, which do you think helps their team the most?

How is this even a question? The Lakers gave up next to nothing for Gasol.

As a Laker fan, this makes me :D

yeah seriously. the heat benefited more from the shaq deal probably, and the nets did better with the mavs, so your poll sucks

Hey, only time will tell.

The lakers did lose to the Hawks with Pau Gasol. I know Bynum is still injured, but we will see what happens.

Being an impartial suns fan, i think that Shaq will definitely help the suns the most. We have never had an inside presence, and with Shaq we finally have a true center

gasol to lakers. gasol was a nice pick up and we unloaded kwame brown. but then again hell it could've been kwame brown for a sack of turnips and it still would've been a good deal.

you should add the Nets side of the trade, getting Devin Harris, Diop, draft picks, etc. They absolutely ROBBED the Mavs.

Gasol, by far. Once ABynum gets healthy, the Lakers are going to be serious business in the West. I don't know about Finals serious business, but they're definitely making the playoffs and (depending on who they pull) I could definitely see them getting past the first round.

I actually think the Nets have the most upside to these deals. The other trades were making good teams better, but the Celts are 6-2 without KG, and the Nets were awful. Add Devin Harris, a younger version of Kidd, and bench scoring from Stackhouse along with interior size from Diop and Nenad Krstic (once he's healthy again) and that team becomes a quality team in the East, where anything over 50 wins is a good season.
I think the first three trades get them further in the playoffs, but the Nets deal really is making a bad team a playoff team into at LEAST the second round.

i'm watching the lakers vs dallas right now and Gasol makes this team soo much better. Odom's stats since gasol has joined the lakers have gone up significantly. odom's stats 14.5 pts, 11.6 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game over the last month.

lol... i wouldn't be surprised if they made it into the 2nd round because the East is like a WNBA conference, but Kidd>Harris.

and that's without Bynum, who has established himself as a rising stud center. once bynum, odom, and gasol develop some chemistry........i'm just glad they're in the West :)
