All Ti's seem to be out of stock for every manufacture.

I got on a deal for the EVGA 1080ti card with amazon. Said it was supposed to be in stock on the 10th. Now it says the 16'th, and I was thinking maybe it's time to ditch EVGA and go with MSI or whatever but now, NOwhere to be found. I guess the good news if any is that I got in with amazon for 750 bucks, but for some strange reason, I think I'm screwed because I think with ever manufacture out of stock, it could be months before 1080's start filtering down in the pipeline....

Hmmmmmmm, what to do!

Just built a new computer a TR 16 core... but No Videocard in stock to even power the thing up! GASP....

You could buy one off eBay but good luck with that.

Yeah I think you're pretty much stuck paying ebay scalper prices if you want to use your machine. Just checked newegg, 1080ti totally out of stock. Too bad you don't have a temporary lower end card laying around.

edit---- Even the normal 1080's still left on newegg are selling for a lot of money... Jeez this video card situation is crazy right now....

when it went out of stock the price dropped to 750. What the hell.... I took a chance and waited 15 days plus shipping, saved a few bucks, but, the Corsair Vengeance RGB 32GB DDR4 3200 was 440 so... there went any savings anyway... Not like you can just go make your own RAM. So far I got about 3K racked up in this new build. :) We'll see how it goes!

Yeah, I think Nvidia has cut back on production for the 10X0 generation chips to make some room for producing more of their next-gen chips so that they have more stock to bin into the various iterations.

I've read that production of gp102 has stopped for the Ampere cards that are supposed to launch in April.

Interesting that they're actually shipping a GPU at that price, Amazon usually doesn't honor price dropped out of stock items, happened with some DDR4 RAM out of stock that dropped well below its market value and even when ordered it disappeared and reappeared at a higher price with in stock.
