Out of curiosity - What does a SD-3 or an OC-1 connection cost?

the OC-3 can't cost that much. I keep getting calls from some sales guy that leaves me VM's saying he can get me an amazing deal on a oc-3 connection to my site. Well since the only site I have that would even be remotely associated with that phone number is my house, I'm tempted to take him up on his offer one day.

But an OC-3 connection is going to cost MANY thousands a month. It's 155mbps and can range from $15,000 to $100,000 a month.
 
and OC-1 is typically what dorm rooms have on college campuses. They will run you up to 10k a month. I think that is what he meant. Or maybe he was referring to a T1 which costs about 200-300 a month, and lower in some places.
 
Last month I think Charter "claimed" to be rolling out 60Mbps down/5Mbps up for $150 a month.

I just wish they could change my 3Mbps from its 60Kbps down/5Kbps up (if I'm lucky). They've sucked the last week or so.
