Hmm.. My girlfriend and I went to an all you can eat buffet for our 2 year. :p

LMAO... woah... Dr. Smooth here :D
It was actually her idea. :p

I asked her where she wanted to go for dinner, and thats where she said.. lol

It's actually an upscale buffet, if there is such a thing.. It's like 10$/person, and the food is pretty good.. they have real honey hams and other big cuts of meat that they cut right infront of you.

Let me get this straight, your cheap and lazy boyfriend wants to do nothing on your first anniverssary. Something tells me that relationship will not last much longer.

Your BF won't even go with you to the park on your anniversary even though you offered to pay... My ex would have never let that sh*t fly.

It must be the big foot factor...

Sure he's lazy and normally it's not bad. I don't mind laying down watching movies and tv and such, I just figure that considering the fact that we rarely go anywhere he would want to go out to Knotts with me, still no such luck

I think it's time you wake up and smell the coffee, he does not value the relationship as much as you do. All is fine so long as you are doing things he wants to do. When you ask him to take you somewhere (doesn't matter how much it costs) and he falt out refuses, that's a red flag.

Tell him you won't decide and that he has to. Then we'll find a YAGT post here on AT and we'll know who he is :p

Seriously though, tell him he should decide and that you won't decide or something.

"he refuses to let me tell anyone..."

Are you kidding, JessicaK?

Your exchanges in the following threads were as blatant as could be:

Couples. He in fact introduced you to us there!

"I hate my GF".

Are you really serious? This doesn't make sense at all.

"So for our one year anniversary (which happens to be Jan 1) my bf asked me what I would like to do. I responded by saying that I want to go to Knotts Berry Farm (for those who don't know it's a local theme park). Anyway, he keeps saying that he won't take me, even if I pay. Any other suggestions on what we can do?"

Well, my honest opinion wouldn't be in agreement with your question 'cuz I would not care for someone who behaves the way your bf does (supposing things are as seen in his exchanges with you at the forum or as you say they are). Or if I did stay with such a person, I would insist on going there. I would be damned if I offered to pay yet he said no. If he didn't agree, then we could stay home together, or I go on my own. Again, though, I wouldn't want to stay in such a relationship in the first place.

That's just my opinion, though. It's up to you what you do. Hope you finally have fun without having to fight about something. Enjoy yourself, and keep us updated!

i did that on my birthday...

and he just said "ok..we won't go anywhere then, since you won't decide."

so we just stayed home and sat around...
