Bought a tempuric last month and it's just too firm for side sleepers, what sort of topper can I put on it to make it softer ?

the bed leaves me with an aching hip and shoulder in the morning. I can't return it and need to know what sort of topper I should buy to try to make it soft enough for a side sleeper. Foam, latex, down ?

When did I ever claim to be the "king of memory foam"? That's right, never 🙂

That would be PlatinumGold.

I can understand that due to "hygienic" reasons, tempur-mattress aren't returnable; but the fact that you are waking up w/ pain in two particular joints in the AM leads me to think that you should contact the manufacturer Geekbabe. The "main" selling point of these expensive foam mattresses is for the conformity to your body w/ out the need of added "padding" IMO. Just my 2¢ 🙂

Memory foam topper, most definitely. I love those things.

Uhhh...isn't the whole bed memory foam?

Yes vi_edit, which is why I think Geekbabe should contact the manufacturer.

Haha I said ?sex!?

and there's the difference .. I actually have sex,you just talk about it 🙂

Zim, I think I'll call the manufacturer tomorrow, though from what I'm googling there's a lot of people complaining about similar issues. These beds are great for back pain suffers but not so good for side sleepers with normal backs.
