Get rid of obama, its obvious he is making our future worse with all of his spending. We need to elect mitt romney and kick obamas ass out.
 
I think what will happen is our goal will be to bicker which candidate sucks more. Then we will have an election and the 2016 cycle will start up. I predict Hillary will be talked about a lot. So we will fiddle while Rome(DC) burns.

Good luck with that. Didn't and will never vote for Obama and it looks like I won't have to. No... we need to clean out the HOR and stop EBTs.

lol romney is obama. Same on war. Same on spending. Same on health care. Same on shrinking manufacturing base. Same on exporting jobs overseas. Same on piling on more debt. Same same same. They may as well both be in skull and bones and have the number 322 tattooed on their foreheads. At least this time people wont be tricked into thinking they are going to get change. I predict a 20% decrease in voter participation. It will basically being a bunch of brainwashed fox / cnn old senile freakshows going to vote for more debt to screw over the younger generations who dont vote.
 
Romney's spending will be 98% or more of Obama's spending, guaranteed. Partly this is because CONGRESS makes the budget and spends the money, not the President whose budget represents a wish list of his priorities, but mostly it's because we the voters demand our goodies.

It's all well and good to debate which candidate will be the best (or least worse), but we should be realistic about the effects of the President. Except in very odd cases such as the Democrats having a filibuster-proof Senate majority, all bills must have at least a little bi-partisan support. This is a good thing.
 
Do you think Romney will actually do anything much different than Obama or Bush or Clinton or Bush (the tree)?

Not to mention that if you are only counting spending created by new bills or policies, Obama is spending at a lower rate than Bush was. The vast majority of our deficit has come from increases in mandatory spending from laws long ago on the books or decreases in tax revenues.

even if somehow ron paul were elected, he'd be pulled right to where obama/romney would be if he wanted anything whatsoever to pass. either that or everything would grind to a screeching halt.

I predict that your prediction of voter participation is hilariously wrong. While Romney and Obama share more policies than either would like to admit, they are still quite different in the end. At least we can all take comfort in the fact that America was smart enough to laugh Ron Paul out of the room again.

Ron Paul would probably go down in a shitstorm of incompetence and gridlock, finally being impeached in order to put an adult in the White House. (I genuinely believe he would be impeached if he were elected)

That'd be hillarious if Romney wasn't a pro government fascist himself. He'll say otherwise to get elected, but let's not ignore who he is, and what he has done.
