Our local radio station just loves unedited songs..

<< they just say the f-word,a-word,s-word,b-word like its no big deal.
gotta love public radio 🙂

Heh, I had to cover for our top 40 DJ one time, about a year ago. I had no idea what to do, she was running late, so I just put in a compilation CD. She got there just in time to cut off a song before it started a series of about 20 curse words. lol

They can get fined big time for that.

All I can say about the subject is that Clear Channel Communications Inc. has ruined commercial radio in the US..

I absolutely agree. I write every local clear channel affiliate constantly to remind them that I won't listen unless they go legit.

Caring about what the *listener* has to say? You give them too much credit. They get paid whether you listen or not. It's all about money anyway, isn't it? No one works in radio because they like it...

Alone I can't hurt them, but if enough people stop listening, advertisers pull spots, and that ends the company.

Won't happen. They are well on their way toward having a monopoly on what you listen to on the radio.. It's the same situation with Microsoft Windows: If dogfood's your only choice, you eat dogfood..

Well, that explains my marriage. 😎

Seriously though, I know it won't happen. But fortunately with the ease of acquiring nearly every song ever made today, I don't need the radio. 😎

I don't listen to radio. My former coworker used to play a talk show in the morning back in Nov-Dec. This was the last time I listened to the radio.

They don't play a damn thing I like so there is no reason to even connect it to my car cd player- I just listen to cds.
