Trump cleaning house with the DOJ will have its pluses and minuses. Downside is that cops will literally get away with murder, upside is that Obama and Lynch won't be able to race-bait and create riots through hysteria and lawsuits. Whatever happens, this is one of the things that excites me the most.

If you like a DOJ that vilifies lawful self-defense and sues in support of racial gerrymandering, I suppose you would think that. I'm pretty ambivalent on Obama in a lot of respects, I think a lot of what he has done is no worse than the alternative if not significantly better, but his DOJ has been a miserable failure and the low point of his 8 years.

Republicans already enact voting rules based on race. Cough...cough...Texas and NC...cough. Check out the Texas thread.

Gerrymandering is a state issue. Feds can't do. Frankly we need to get rid of it. Congressional districts should not look like linguine.

Did you not read the link I provided? This is the federal government filing a lawsuit against a city government over a perceived violation of voter rights, which the DOJ requests to be remedied via gerrymandering explicitly along racial lines. I'll post it again:

White people voting for white people is racist? How about when black people vote for black people? When do citizens have a right to choose who they want to vote for?

The entire Trayvon Martin debacle is more than enough evidence regarding self-defense (though granted, I thought Holder had disappeared a while ago and not so recently, my bad for blaming Obama and Lynch exclusively).

White people making it so that black people have no voice in govt is racist, by definition & by federal law cited in your own link. The East Lansing city council knows exactly what they're doing.
