our car got rammed in while parked

DUDE! I totally feel your pain! I bought my Mazda3 in March and just wrecked it. Driving at night and a guy in a bigass Dodge Ram 2500 with Cattleguard failed to yeild and crashed into the front right side of my Mazda3. THIS SUCKS!

A few years ago someone sideswiped my Celica and knocked the mirror off and damaged the door at about 4am on a Saturday morning. The idiots pulled over about 100 yards ahead and just narrowly escaped the pissed off woman in a bra and shorts hunting them down on foot :|

we filed a police report... nothing yet though. still not sure if it's advisable to keep the car like that outside, but we put the club on the steering wheel so hopefully nobody will touch it.

i guess we'll find out tomorrow what happened.

what we do think, however, is that some truck backed up into the car, since there's a black line in the dent that's pretty high up (close to the mirror). a car couldn't get that high up.

same thing happened to me 1.5 months ago..unfortunately for the perp, she hit my car (while drunk) in front of a cop and tried to speed away...didn't work out well for her...

My car's windshield was bashed in last year with a large rock, by some upstate NY hillbilly miscreants, or possibly drunk Cornell frat boys, while it was in the parking lot for my dorm.

I'm a professional student att OSU now, and fear of that sort of thing has motivated me to live 12 miles away from campus in the suburbs.
