but HOLY CRAP did it make a difference, supposedly this upgrade was to triple capacity, and also make the path from them to the internet backbone they use "all fiber."
not only did our connection go from 8mbps/512kbps to 8mbps/4mbps, but ping times have GREATLY improved, i can ping the default gateway our router gets assigned at 5ms, and i can now ping google at 35ms, it used to be 90-105ms on average, they've cut it in half.... im most excited by the new upstream bandwidth but, if i was a gamer the ping times would be really cool im sure....
