My college track team was driving home last night after a weekend meet and saw a lot of flashing lights on the other side of the road. As we all rubbernecked, we saw a tractor trailer, and a coach bus, and somehow the bus was split right down the middle, impaled upon the semi. Apparently the tractor trailer was parked on the side of the road with it's rear door open, and the bus hit it from behind. The edge of the trailer side tore through the bus, which was carrying a canadian women's hockey team. It was truly horrible. Everyone knew it was bad just from the few seconds we saw of it. Here's a story with some pics that tell you just how awful it was.

OMG :Q

Yeah, it was pretty disconcerting, seeing a bus nearly identical to our's carrying a team just as our's was, ripped in half like that.

yep i live near there, my dad is a Doctor, he was called in at like 5 came home at like 8, the whole hospitial was on dissaster notice, no one actually came down here, 3 choppers were taking them up to strong and such, i asked him why no one came here seeing as we are only 10 min away, and he said because with an accedent like that most are either dead or walking wounded :Q

Oh snap. I've seen cars hit busses and the bus took no damage, but never a bus hitting something bigger. No pics of semi? Oh snap.
