Most of the law books i need are either new editions, written by the prof him/herself, or need to be clean so i can do my own work in them.

amazon marketplace

takes ~2 weeks to get them though. so i just buy them from the store on credit and return them once i get the amazon order

Dont' buy them, Just take notes. That's what I did in my 5 yrs of grad school. I only bought like 5 books in total.

Exactly, go to class first and see if the book is necessary. Most schools REQUIRE a textbook for a class (meaning making the teacher assign a book) but they never use it. Books are a scam.

Mine don't look too bad for the upcoming semester. With my 10% discount, I'll probably get away with about $400 for books.

Impossible in law school. You have to read/brief the cases before class, if you dont, and you get called on in class, say goodbye to your ass :D
