Other good tech forums...

They've got an nVidia marketing shill running the place. Several threads were deleted tonight WRT people's opinions regarding how they feel about what's going on. I've just seen enough of it at this point. Other things have been going on but I've been able to look past it to this point.

I've heard ArsTechnica is one of the best ones, but I don't know about it personally.

Ars is nice. AnandTech has an advantage with regard to hardware but Ars rules with regard to software.

For video info Toms is hard to beat. For discussion or recommendations I generally hit the brand specific forums. The AT video forum hasn't been very useful for a while, and at this point I consider it more of a marketing tool than a discussion forum.

WHAT?! BETTER THAN AT?!?! WTF??!?!?!!!!!!

YOU UNDESERVING DEGENERATE PIECE OF ****!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'LL KILL YOU!!!! I'LL KILL YOU!!!!!!!! I'LL KILL YOUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In terms of tech, ArsTechnica is pretty good. If you want better knowledge in hardware and stuff, honestly has a lot more expertise. Those guys are so nitpicky about their Dell 2407s it's amazing. Then again I'm about that picky too, so it pisses me off when people on AT are like oh whatever I like my new display. As for OCing, the same thing goes. I don't see as much craziness about setups and stuff. XtremeSystems is the place to go when you want major OCing and benchmarking.
