OTC Allergy solutions?

I generally don't get allergies, but over the past day or so it's been rough.

I've been biking to work the past few weeks so the 1.5 hours a day of exposure to the outdoors and construction zones are finally catching up to me, and ridding them is going to prevent my commute from being a living hell.

I've heard good things about neti pots, but anyone have other recs? Sars mask?

Claritin is good, just be careful about which package you buy. I would suggest not buying the 30 day pack.

There are laws saying you can only buy 30 pills in 30 days. Basically if you buy the 30 pack, you have to wait until the day you run out to buy more pills. Quite annoying.

I usually bought the 15 pack to give me more flexibility about what day I could restock on.

Edit: This only applies to the versions that contain pseudoephedrine.

That's probably for the versions that contain pseudoephedrine.

I'm a Zyrtec (generic version) fan.

Generic Zyrtec is awesome, I use that with some generic Flonase (prescription) and I never have any issues. Who knows which one is doin' it for me, but I'm just going to keep using both. Mostly just allergic to my cat, but I'm real allergic to him.

I tried Zyrtec and got nosebleeds every day I took it. I stopped, and no longer got nosebleeds. So I stuck with Claritin .
