Probably the better than free after rebate OD Visioneer XP 100 portable scanner was the best deal I got.

$89 refurb Dell 2350s (2) from last March was also pretty hot.

Staples returned to me $349 on my card for a return that I only paid $312 for??? retarded manager even said it was ok when I tried to correct him???

REPALTV =SUCK as I bought 3 and 1 was dead and 2 they Fed me over on even though I ordered on the 17th... c0cksuckers:evil: glad though TV is the Debil!

I don't want to turn this into an Axim thread so I'll just say that yes, some shipped before they caught on, and some people called wondering what happened to our PDA's they ordered, and got their orders reinstated. I called and was told to buy one at the retail price then when I received it I could have it price matched back to $79, So I did, and they re-credited me the difference.

While I don't buy the "Dell is Evil" line, the way they handled this mistake was so un-even handed that it just smells bad. While I did get mine, they refused to do the same for my brother even when shown proof that I got mine. so they offered him a free crappy camera which they later canceled saying the CSR had no right to give it to him.

prolly the best deal I got was for the 802.11b MS broadband router and USB wireless adaptor from Staples for $8 + $10 tax😀. . .but then again, it's MS hardware so I've gotten what I've paid for😉

i was a big fan of the dell 1600sc deal at the beginning of last year for some insane price, forget what. has pulled through great for running linux and compiling my java and c++ crap for classes
 
Dell poweredge 600SC Pentium 4 2.4 (only 533 bus though) for $300. It was a relatively slow year for hot deals for me..
 
I saw quite a few good deals that I either missed or passed on. The best deal I got this year had to be my $50 direct tivo. I have it Monte'd with a linux kernal that is hackable. I can now burn movies to dvd + and -r thanks to the OD BF deal. I even learned a bit of linux thanks to a hott deal. 😉

Oh I just remembered the Radio Shack remotes that were clearanced. That 2107 lcd screen remote for $29 was killer also. Too bad I don't really like it. 😉
 
I picked up a brand new Denon 3803 HT receiver for $648.06 shipped from an authorized e-tailer.
 
Mine has to be the 17" Planar LCD for about $280. Still can't believe Dell fulfilled everyone's order. I should have bought more than 1!!!
 
can't remember any particularly, but my most recent one is a north face varius guide jacket for $135, which normally goes for $200. these babies are never on-sale.
 
My hottest deals for 2003 are:

1st place: Sony DRU500A for free! (Ordered from Dell for around $289. Dell made me wait 2 months. I cancelled after the first month. A month later Dell shipped and never charged me! Wow!) 🙂

2nd place: 20" Apex TV from the OfficeMax deal for ~$50 AR. I got 2. Sucks that they are mono but I got the $27 Inspire T2900 system (from Fry's day after Xmas sale) to remedy that problem.

3rd place: Logitech Z560 for $100 shipped right when they came out from Dell.

4th place: Chang Ming ATX case for $22 shipped from Newegg.com. Quality case with 2 internal fans, front LEDs, and quality 400W PS. Crazy!
