Check this!. 🙁 and 🙂. This pic is from the local newspaper. It is one of my friends and his kids. 😀
This is way too early! If this goes on we will have almost 8 months of snow - the last melted in April less than 5 months ago! And I am 150 km south of the polar circle.
This is unusually early. We also have had frost and freezing for some nights ... Brrrrrrrrrr.
I will not freeze since my computer farm heats half the house ... 😉 but outdoors?
Oh, it was nice but cold to have a snow-ball-war in T-shirts.

The CPU-temps have dropped 5 - 7 degrees C since the last check-up 2 weeks ago.

Have a nice sunday and God bless all those at the Gulf Coast, Smoke, TAandy, and all the other TeAm-mates in distress and also those in the state of comfort and happiness.

Edit: Changed headline.

It is weather extremes, get used to it.

Our defoiliation of the planet has accelrated weather masses resulting in the extremes.

Enjoy your new weather or plant a tree and save a planet.

I wish I could - but there is no place - too many trees 🙂 I live in the part of Sweden where 75% of the area is covered by woods.
But I have planted some 250 trees in Tanzania (through our parish).

But this weather pattern is the result of the ex-tropical storm called Maria (?) - if I understood the weatherman's explanation correctly ... the storm kind of opend the way for cold arctic air to come south.
Otherwise: we really se warming, i.e. the winters are getting shorter and warmer. I hope only that the Gulf-stream does not change direction because that would cause a minor ice-age (i.e. the snow in the scandinavian mountains would not melt and the glaciers would increase a lot ... ) So I think that in the next 25 years we will se what happens.

Oh well, I remember when I was a kid that the snow used to be 2 meters high and I could jump out of the second floor (for US folks; = 1st floor for Europeans) right into the snow. We don't have that kind of snow anymore. Which is bad 'cause the fun is gone but also good, 'cause I don't have to shovel all that snow anymore! 😉

Thank you for not having 2 meters of snow. That would mean - in the wrong circumstances - that I would have to climb the roof and showel down the snow - and can anyone estimate how heavy that is? It has happend once in 20 years - and I still remember my back ache 🙁
