UPS drops off DirecTV box, 10 minutes later an installer pulls up, Wow

Yep, Our Adelphia Cable with one lousy box went up again that they finally put themselves out of business. It just went to $54 Two months ago and now get the bill that they went to $57 so might as well go with a Dish.

Ordered it last Thursday. UPS dropped off the box at 1 pm, 1:10 an installer shows up at the door and half hour later the cable box is sitting in the corner and on many more Satellite channels than had with cable for the same price.

Next to be ditched is the ADT Alarm monitoring. They just went up another $3 as well to $33. My Electric Company has a Security Division that monitors for $16.95.

All these idiots pricing themselves right out of business.

More the Politics of it. It's been widely published how Cable Companies keep raising their rates.

lol, yeah, Cable's pricing is rediculous. The technology is ancient yet they charge excessive fees for it. My parents were thinking of swapping to Bellsouth Cable or Direct TV because Comcast's service has been terrible at best.

LOL, anyone paying over 30 dollars for alarm monitoring is a damn fool. Especially those idiots that sign a 2-3 year contract. On a side note, I still pay 13 dollars for my cable.

Once Murdoch takes full control of DirectTV he'll try to indoctinate you with EVIL capitalism and probably try to reprogram your matrix chip.

I don't think the Adelphia had 97 channels. most were blocked out, didn't even get TechTV which now see for the first time since I spoke with Jennifer London, looks like she is gone and have a well built dark haired girl on there now

2 new Hot overclocked computers? Still running two old 1600XP machines. Donna like the There program and her machine wouldn't run it so I gave her my old A7A266 with 1600XP that runs the program OK but have to re-boot the machine when leave the program. I picked up a A7N8X-X for less than $80 and still running the 1600XP chip.

Still running old ATA 66 Western Digital 40 gig drive too, such a waste when the new Motherboard has ATA 133 interface.

Also why would I be working to lower monthly bill expense like insane monitoring fee like somebody said over $30 a month?
