Ok gang, maybe I have something wrong with my setup. It took 17 hours and 47 minutes to complete the first WU on my AthlonXP 1800+, GA7dx, 512mb DDR, win2k pro, and the only thing I had running all night and day is a couple of browser windows open and my firewall. The system has been tweaked already a little over what it's rated at but is very stable. Any further increases in bus or voltage and the thing gets squirrely. Is 17:47 normal for this powerful of a box??? I have Seti configured to run all the time, not just in saver mode, is there anything else I should do? TIA

Ok there is definitely something wrong here. I have the same setup and I do average around 3.5 hours per workunit.
 
Is that the GUI ultanium? Install CLI if it is (My Install Site) You probably have power saving turned on. Make sure that you just set it to turn off the monitor, not shut down the hard drive or anything. Set both of those to Never.
 
Yes, it's the GUI version 3.03. Powersave is not active in bios, only the shutoff monitor in win2k after several hours. Am grabbing the CLI now. Thanks

GUI uninstalled and CLI version running. Setup as directed on teriba's website. I set mine up for 10 on the cache size since it's a pretty fast box, should I leave the priority set at low? FYI: The SETI driver is showing about 5:30 for the completion of the WU it's chomping on now. Thanks!
