OT: RAID 5 - disk trouble?

received the seven of these events in sequence:

\Device\AFA0 : ID(1:04:0); Error Event [command:0x28]
\Device\AFA0 : ID(1:04:0); Medium Error [k:0x3,c:0x11,q:0x2]
\Device\AFA0 : ID(1:04:0); Error Too Long To Correct
\Device\AFA0 : ID(1:04:0) Medium Error, LBN Range 132303360:132303
\Device\AFA0 : 423
\Device\AFA0 : Previous event spanned multiple lines
\Device\AFA0 : ID(1:04:0) Starting BBR sequence

haven't received a fail (YET) but do you think I'm gonna get one soon?

Yeah, those are all the same drive. Since they're all the same, you'll probably have to fail one disk, but that's what raid 5 is for, right? Do you have a hotspare? If so, then your array will rebuild itself. If not, you'd better get another drive quick!

yea, hotspare is glorious 😉 should be alright... i'll cross ship rma it on monday

Woops, I read his post wrong. I thought he said he has seven of that sequence of error messages. :S Now I see he was just saying thoughs seven error messages.
