Hello all. Does anyone know if such a software exists? I am looking for a way to record my daughters pc games to her hard drive and trick the system into thinking that the cd is in the drive and go to the area of the hard drive that it is recorded at. She has 5 games that all require the cd to be in and when she wantes to jump from Pooh to Elmo she doesnt have the patients to wait for the cd to load. She's only 2 1/2. Anyway if someone knows of such software please let me know.

;)

I'm sure you have checked here... but gamecopyworld.comhas a lot of no CD hacks that work great the only issue would be if they have the hack for your games.:) I'm doubtful they do but it might be worth a try. Most of them relpace the .exe file so that it does not look for the CD.

Just a thought.;)

Good Luck

Here is another good site to look for such proggies. I have used Daemon Tools with very good success. It is a CD drive emulator, or virtual cd-dvd rom drive. It rearranges your drive letters, if you do not set them manually, so be ready for that........ hth
