I can't ignore that!

We were talking about the influence of TeAm mates from cyberworld on us in real life

Evidence suggests that people tend to ignore the reality of the cyberworld, and substitute their own.

There is the whole reason for this thread

If that's true then the cyber-reality is actually real and reality is not.

Perception is reality. Cyber-reality is interpreted by your perception. Therefore your cyber-reality is your reality.

I honestly was wondering about this question as a general question. I felt bad about not doing the stats in so long. But I know it doesn't really matter, as it is irrelevant to the real world, but I felt a pressure to get it done. Not that I minded at all--not in the least, actually. I found it interesting how something such as the stats made me think and feel, and was wondering if others were affected in the same manner. Verifying my existence in the non-real world. :)

There are also people that hide behind their screens and act in ways that demonstrate they have no caring because they won't ever be face to face. Their opinion doesn't matter to me at all.

I agree.

Hmmm. So basically, stats are real but irrelevant, and reality is cyber-reality where stats are not irrelevant. Is this a conundrum or on oxymoron?

Not an oxymoron; because there is no inherent contradiction as the relevance of the stats is dependent on different circumstances (RL vs cyber-reality).

Conundrum it may be, since there is an interesting riddle in the sentence ... which is solvable if you think that cyber reality is a subset of reality - which it - IMHO - certainly is. But this requites that our perception at least in part reflects reality and that there is a (possibly small) part of reality that we all agree on. This OTOH requires that reality (as in RL) is larger than cyber reality, because we can live without cyber reality and because cyber reality is more confining then reality. Then of course you can add each individual's own personal reality which in it self is a subset of total reality and which also contains a subset of cyber reality ...

I am thinking of a big pool of reality, with a large bubble of cyber reality and many, many smaller bubbles of pesonal realities which in turn contain a bubbe of cuber reality.
Then we add some people with psychoses - which have an different grasp (or - for a few people - lack of grasp) of realities, or multiple realities at the same time and what do we get?

Life is a bubble bath and the answer to all is 42 ... or was it 46? ;)

I'm glad the questions are free... I think that would have cost me quite a bit otherwise. ;) 42 something....

I'm sure i've made people mad once or twice by forgetting to post stats. Withdrawal ain't a pretty thing. As a matter of fact, i can feel the collective shakes coming on... oh wait, i forgot the washers on spin cycle.

Some people's opinion would matter to me, others wouldn't, others I might get mad at ;).
