OT: Omg compusa shipped the wrong IOMEGA

A month after i placed the order i finally recieved the drive today. I opened the ups box and noticed 12x write, 4x Rewrite, 32x read. This is ridiculous. I tried calling there 800# but they are closed right now. If I do return the drive back are they going to pay for shipping? how is this going to work out

ummmmm i dont think its the 4x rewrite is whats bugging him. i think its the fact that its not a plextor anymore and i dont think the 4x rewrite one has burn proof, but please correct me if im wrong, but try not to chop off my balls and feed them to the dogs. Im just too lazy to look it up. so bah

Well i dont know if its the plex anymore for one reason and I need the 30$ rebate!!!! the rebate specifically states the 12x10x32x..... Im gonna fire off an email right now.

The 4x rewrite does indeed have burnproof.

4x = rebadged Sanyo (the inventors of burnproof)

10x = rebadged Plextor

Usually I see these kind of posts and just move on, this time I believe I'll linger for a second or two.

The whiner states that he's waited awhile for this package to arrive, maybe he should just wait another 12 hours until the Compusa offices re-open and cry to them. No doubt they'll make good on the oversight.

If they don't fix it, probably everyone and his lawyer knows that these errors can be remedied by one's credit card company. If KenDogg isn't aware of this, he is now.

Odds are very good you'll wind up with the product you ordered, unlike many of the rest of us who wanted in on the deal but were closed out.

Grow up, make a phone call or two, and stop your bitchin'.
