OT: My car was "visited".

Here's a pic I took of my car a month or so ago. I looked out the window and got freaked out when I saw this.
It's a completely natural image, the snow blew off in that pattern when I was driving, and I parked under some eaves and the drips created the eyes and formed the hands.
My car.

hmm, all this seti crunching isn't doing much good then, we do all this looking for aliens and they sneek right in and make faces on our cars :|

I don't think it's a sign, the other night it did a similar thing, only it looked more demonic this time.
I'll keep parking my car there and see if anything else comes up. Kinda like a ink blot test. 🙂

what's that in the alien's hand? is it some kind of gift as a token of peace? the remote control for his spaceship?

A couple of years ago we were making headway on a team named, "Team Art Bell". At the time I was running stats on all of the teams that I thought one day we might catch and this "Team Art Bell" had an unbelievable number of members. Back then we were approaching the 1,000 mark (or had just passed it a little) and this team we were gaining on had over 12,000 members! The Seti stat sites only showed up to 9,999 so there were members that SetiTeam couldn't even see. :Q

So my curiosity was piqued. I had to find out how this team got so many members, dwarfing every other team even the top ones, and who in the heck was this guy, Art Bell?

That's when I found out about the Coast To Coast Radio Show, a four-hour program that ran from 12:00 midnight to 4:00 AM my local time. After listening to him just once, I realized how he got so many members. He was great and his radio show went around the whole world. Luckily for the rest of the Seti Teams, his members are not as dedicated as we. 😉

I ended up buying that tape recorder from C. Crane and Co. so I could listen to the program the following day. It was right about the time I got all setup to record his show that he retired due to back problems very similar to my own. 🙁

Recently, with his health improved, he has started back broadcasting on Saturday and Sunday night. I would recommend you give him a listen for he is really unique. 🙂

Edit: Here is a link to his team where you can see what he looks like. And they now have over 13,000 members and the Seti Stat Pages are still limited to 9,999 just like I remembered. 😀
