/me is pretty happy with his 19 inch Philips 109B CRT monitor, but I'd love to have a 17 inch flat panel like Engineer's, and have it hooked up in a dual monitor config.

Hitachi introduces 'smoother' LCD display

Hitachi America Ltd. has introduced a new 17-inch LCD monitor, the CML174, that the company claims has almost half the response time of any other flat panel monitor on the market.


The display is due in early November at a manufacturers suggested retail price of US$699.
