I've been a Firefly fan since the short lived series first aired, so I was eagerly anticipating the movie.

It did not dissapoint ;)

Some real good a$$ kicking action there!

She was upset that a couple of "core characters" got killed off. I told her it's always the nicest ones that get it, you just have to expect it.

Great effects, if you like the show you should love the movie.

I love the scene with the dripping axe & sword ;)

Thumbs way up for this one people.

Hey Wiz! Glad you liked it!

I am in Detroit on business and went to see the movie yesterday. I knew nothing about it before seeing the movie. I thought it was well done, with some great special effects, but I had a hard time really getting into the movie. I honestly considered walking out at a bit past half way. I had no expectations, so that was not the problem.

This fills in the parts surrounding Firefly (the rest of the story), maybe if this does well at the box office, they will bring back the series.

Took my family to the first matinee on Friday, stayed to see it a second time. It gets a thimbs up from all of us!

I was one of those a bit taken with the series when it first aired, have watched the whole thing every time it's been trotted out on sci-fi channel and was eagerly anticipatin' the release of the movie. I admit it's gotta be a site better when you know the characters & like 'em the way I do.

That bein' said, I reckon anyone sees it should agree it's a gorram hit.

or else...

which one?

my lovely wife says "you never kill off core people"

I responded it just makes the bad guys seem all the badder when they kill off someone you care about. She doesn't buy it.
