Hey all !!

I'm sick and will be in bad till 15.12.2003 :/ So, I won't be replying here and my comp will be off... After 15 I hope I will be able to reply and crunch again !!

Oh, I have cold, and that's the reason :/

Hope to see you soon !!

That's too bad🙁.

Can I have your computer when you ...ahem... how can I put this nicely, um.... when you take the midnight train to slab city?😛

🙁 that sucks 🙁

I've been feeling bad for almost a month, with some sinus / sore throat crap that gets worse, then better, then worse again without ever going away completely (it hasn't kept me from the computer, though 😉).

Hope you feel better soon. 🙂

Just got over 4 days of stomach virus here. The best part? I attended a christmas party with a great food spread over the weekend and all I could do was slowly sip from a 20 oz. coke (which lasted me all day). Nothing like being dehydrated from the runs and having such an upset stomach that you can't rehydrate quick enough. :disgust:

Hope you feel better soon! 🙂

Did you know soda dehydrates you? So does gatoraid! That is if your not using all the minerals and such that are in them. 😉

Oh yeah, Get well soon.

Sounds that all you sick people need plenty of fluids.................................................

Very nice 😉

I see that I haven't mentioned one more thing. My mother is sick to, and stay at home :/ That's why I won't leave my comp on :/
Heh, she sleep now, so I'm posting here 😉

Here's how to WHIP a cold's azz:

1) At first sign, start with Cold-Eeze losenges. I typically dissolve 6-8 of these a day in my mouth (never chew). Keep taking them for about 5-7 days, 6-8/day.
2) Buy 500mg tabs of Vitamin C. Take 1 morning, 1 after lunch, 1 after dinner. DON'T TAKE THEM ALL AT ONCE, you will just pee the vitamin C right out. Spread them out.
3) Do Jala Neti 4-6 times over the day to flush out the nasty viruses living in your nose. I use a straight solution of sodium chloride (non-iodized table salt) at 0.87% made up fresh.

I've found I can end a cold in 2-3 days doing this. The same nasty cold that's killing my co-workers and friends for 2, 3, even 4 weeks I'm over in 2-3 days!!! 😀

My mom has a stock of those cold-eeze losenges, but I've not tried any yet (should do that, maybe I'd get over this sh!t that I've got faster). Gargling with a salt water solution can ease sore throat pain, and supposedly increases blood circulation to the throat area, which can help if you have an infection there and are taking antibiotics for it (according to the doctor I visited when I had this the first time, about a month ago). You'll probably want to follow the salt water gargle with some Listerine, because salt water tastes rather crappy.
