My sister-in-law was contacted by one of my half-sisters that we knew nothing about.

Their mother was my dad's wife following my mother.

The older daughter has a daughter who is studying psychology in grad school on the East Coast.

So, I am an uncle for the first time!

I am excited!

This is where I am at too! My sister has had 2 kids in the past 2 years so they're young'uns still but it'll be fun to spoil them with no consequences!
