OT: Does anyone here have Madden 99? I have a question.

I posted this in the OT forum and got no response, but I know there must be a few of the 30,000 forum members with Madden 99.

Anyway, I have a question about the draft. There seen to always be 1 or 2 HUGE linebackers in the draft that have great stats except for their tackling rating. Does this rating eventually get up to a normal level after a few years, or should I avoid the big linebackers with bad tackle ratings?

I've got Madden 2000 but I guess it would be about the same in that department.

It all really depends on the individual player. Some may improve alot or just a little and some may stay about the same or get worse. The two ratings I really look for is speed & acceleration. Many players improve in other categories but fewer improve in the speed department. Nothing can replace speed especially on defense.

A player will more likely increase his tackling ability than he will his speed or acceleration. Hope this helps.
