sorry for all the Off topic but i feel this is important for someone you hot deal shoppers.

On Jan 17, 2001, I ordered a $150 Headphones from Buy.com.

On Jan 19, 2001, I changed my mind and cancelled my order but according to CSR, item has been shippped. She mentioned that i can simply refuse the delivery and everything will be handle through Buy.com. <--- Biggest Mistake i Ever make there. So i listen to the sales representative and refused the order.

On Jan 26, 2001, I checked the status of the package and it showed that has been delivered back to Buy.com. So i called them and told them of the story. The CSR told me that their system didnt show that i returned the the headphones, then i told them that Buy.com's own tracking system showed it was returned then He told me "Oh, sorry that was weird, Ok I'll put in the request and credit should be returned to your credit card no later than 21 days. So i wait, wait and wait.

On March 5, 2001, I was upset that nothing was emailed to me nor credit was returned to my credit card. Buy.com Close down their Phone Support <---- not a good sign. I could not find anything on their webpage that states a phone number. So I put in a request through their crappy email support. with the promised words that a sells rep will return my email within 12 hours. <---- Received nothing from them as of today.

On March 20, 2001, My second email to Buy.com support since there is no way I can get in contact with this company NO PHONE NUMBERS. I think soon, this company will file for chapter 11. arrrggghhh I can't believe this kind of Customer Srevice with no phone support. Now i dont have the headphones and I sitll have to pay for that $150.00 plus shipping :(

Dude - just dispute it with your CC company. You have proof that you didn't accept delivery. Make sure to send them a real letter via registered mail and use the exact words "billing error" to describe it.

They'll take it from there...

Unless of course, you used a debit card - which you should NEVER do...

Later!

Print out your proofs and send them to your credit card company asking for refund of purchase price

???NO PHONE NUMBERS???

You sure?

1-888-880-1030 still works...just called...has worked multiple times for me during March through this week (follow-up on switch order)...Intro message informs that BUY.COM is not scheduled to go to email-only support until March 30. Phone support should continue until then.

Have you tried calling this 800-number for a Customer Rep?

You may have trouble disputing it with the CC company because, AFAIK, most of them require you to submit a claim within 60 days of the purchase.
