I can imagine it now.

*5% or a weeks vacation!
§No, NEVER! Our ram is already the cheapest!
*Our members deserve better! 10%!!
§NO!
*Thats it. You've been warned. You're outa here!
§ mphgmmhph...... *sound of boots on concrete as crucial guy being dragged away*

Yes, I'm writing and thinking of things like this instead of doing m yenglish paper.

There was another link recently for 15% off @ crucial with a referral from another website. If the anandtech one is dead you can search here for that one, was a few days back at least.

At least you don't have to to a paper on traditional Data management.....UGH.....

HOLY MACKEREL! They want $43 now for 128 MB of PC2100 and $98 for 256 MB! Talk about inflation! Last Oct. I bought 128 MB for $16 and 256 MB for $33! Guess I should have bought about $1,000 worth, then sold it now for a nice profit. Oh well, I only bought about $350 worth then. Time to cash in!

better off hopping onto the gateway deal, since 2/28/02 is the last day for it. just grab the valueram and bump up the order to $200 for free shipping and use the $50-off code floating around. ordered the 512MB PC2100 and a tripp-lite surge protector for $150 + tax, free shipping.

You can tell That Crucial is finally making money from these recent memory price increases. They actually have a TV commercial now a definite sign that they are raking in dough. Maybe they dont need us ANANDTECHIES any more. Since they have gone TV 🙂

Just shows me that the next time (if it ever happens) that ram drops that low I am stocking up even more than I did before. I bought 8 sticks of 256 2100 ddr for like $30 some bucks. Have been all sold for around $80 a stick.
