Thanks for the tips guys

I double-checked that the AGP speed was set to 66, and I disabled FastWrites (couldn't see Sidebanding) and set the primary display to AGP/Onboard, and put the Radeon in, and it worked

glad to see you got it fixed garry, that was going to be the first thing I would have thought would be to make sure fast writes was disabled , all I know that that option does on boards is create instabilities and very very low framerates.
