I have read in the past that there are ways to restore deleted files on your hard drive, although I never payed much attention and didn't think it was possible...But, after deleting one of my sections from my 50-page research paper, I am sort of in a jam :)

...I have the 10-pages printed out, but hoping there is some software that might be able to recover the word doc...haven't rebooted, and don't know if that matters, but if you have any ideas, I welcome any advice :) ...I think they are gone, so going to start typing, but if you have any ideas, talk to me! :)

...and I just turned 'system restore' off in ME last week :(

<edit> found a link someone posted before..trying lost and found and data snoop out *crosses fingers*

That is realy bad.

Try go to command prompt and in the directory where you put the files and type in undelete. Might work.

Nuts & Bolts has a file restorer, I think Norton has one too. I've used Nuts & Bolts to restore files, works well enough in most cases.
